Odour Control - Transfer Stations
Transfer Stations often suffer unwanted strong odours, as holding stations for green waste and house hold waste, and can often receive complaints as most transfer stations are near populated areas.
To defuse the odour a variety of systems can be used. Typically a fixed system is used, with a pump and pipe system which dispels a fine mist mixture of water and odour chemical. Nozzles or fans can be strategically placed to cover the whole area.
A mobile system in the form of a bowser unit can be used, for a temporary solution, although usually these systems are better suited outdoors.
Odour Control Products
Air Neutraliser is an odour control product that is mixed with water. It works by grabbing bad odours and neutralising them. This is a food grade product and is unscented. It will not harm the environment.
Alternatively the bad odours can be masked by using a concentrated fragranced product. Dispersed into the air as a fine mist, it provides a cover up of a pleasant fragrance, available in "Apple", "Sea Breeze", "Cut Grass", "Floral", "Wild Herb", "Pear Drop" and "Garden Mint".
